Romelda Aiken-George has produced a career-best performance as the West Coast Fever posted their second Super Netball win on the trot with a crushing 77-57 victory over the NSW Swifts.

The Swifts shot out to an 11-4 lead in Sunday's match in Sydney before being blown off the court after that as Aiken-George nailed 67 goals from 76 attempts, smashing her previous best mark of 53.

The 37-year-old was lured out of retirement in time for this season to replace star Fever goal shooter Jhaniele Fever-Nembard (pregnancy), and the move has proved a masterstroke.

Aiken-George has played a key role in the Fever's 3-1 start to the season, and she was simply unstoppable against a Swifts outfit missing key defender Sarah Klau (quad).

"Just shooting every day," Aiken-George told Fox Sports when asked the reason behind her hot form.

"I feel like now my court time (at training) is kind of limited, so the best thing I can do is shoot, shoot and more shooting.

"It's definitely paying off. To be getting the supply from the girls and all of them backing me, it's pretty good."

The result leaves NSW with a 1-3 record, with two of those losses by big margins after they lost 74-54 to Adelaide in round one.

The Swifts shot out to an early seven-goal lead in front of their home fans at Ken Rosewall Arena on Sunday, before Fever coach Dan Ryan called a time-out.

Ryan urged his players to be patient and back themselves, with the wise words working a treat as the Fever went on a 12-5 run to level scores at 16-16 by quarter-time.

With Aiken-George in hot form in attack and Fran Williams proving a menace in defence, Fever went into halftime with a handy 35-30 edge.

Star Swifts goal attack Helen Housby was benched after scoring just four goals in the first half, with Grace Whyte installed in her place instead.

The move didn't pay dividends, with the Fever blowing out the lead to 14 goals midway through the third before Housby was brought back on.

The margin swelled to 20 goals before three Super Shots from Housby reduced the deficit to 16 by three-quarter time.

West Coast didn't let up in the final term on the way to the comprehensive win, with Swifts goal shooter Grace Nweke (29 goals from 38 attempts) having an off night under the excellent defensive pressure from Kadie-Ann Dehaney.
