Australia have won the toss and will bowl against New Zealand in the first of three Twenty20 Internationals at North Sydney Oval this week.
No longer a T20 regular, Tahlia McGrath has regained her place after top order batter Phoebe Litchfield failed to recover from a hip strain suffered during the one-day series against Bangladesh last week in Brisbane.
Australia have won their past 10 T20 Internationals, the most recent of which was an emphatic victory over England in the World Cup final at Lord’s in July.
New Zealand has won just three of their past eight T20 internationals and failed to make the World Cup's knockout stage.
