Bodies of man, woman found in suburban home

The bodies of a man and woman have been found inside a home south of Brisbane during a police welfare check.

Officers were called to a Doolandella address about 7pm on Tuesday to undertake the check and discovered the bodies. 

A crime scene has been declared and early investigations from police indicate the woman in her 20s and man in his 30s were known to each other.

Authorities are treating the deaths as suspicious. 

Two men who live at the house are assisting police with their inquiries but are not suspects and police say they have no involvement in the incident.

Detective Inspector Michael Hogan says police are not seeking anyone else over the incident.

"I can also confirm that we're not looking for any other person that may be involved in this incident," Inspector Michael Hogan told reporters on Wednesday.

"We are, however, continuing to ask anyone who may have knowledge and any information that may progress the investigation to come forward to police."
