Police are searching for two men suspected of multiple carjackings across Melbourne.

The men, who could be armed with weapons, allegedly stole four cars in separate incidents on Thursday afternoon.

Officers first noticed the pair driving erratically in a Honda about 1.30pm in Springvale which sparked a police chase from the air, before the offenders dumped the car.

The first carjacking was reported at the intersection of Parkers Road and Nepean Highway in Parkdale.

Police said a second car was stolen on Clayton Road in Clayton South and the third car on Boundary Road in Dingley.

They said the men carjacked a fourth car near Hoddle Street in Richmond.

“The stolen vehicles driven by the offenders also collided with numerous civilian and police vehicles,” police said.

“No one was seriously injured during the carjackings and collisions.”

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
