A toddler has been found after a car was stolen with the two-year-old on board.

Police say a black Kia Carnival, registration 1WU5QT, was parked on Cleeland Street at Dandenong in Melbourne's southeast on Monday afternoon.

The toddler was found unhurt at a business on Burwood Highway in Ferntree Gully.

Police are still searching for the stolen vehicle.
