The final high school exams impacted by a cover sheet blunder have been revealed, with major subjects such as English, mathematical methods and legal studies on the list.

Deputy Premier and Education Minister Ben Carroll released the list of 56 Victorian certificate of education exams that were caught up in the debacle.

There were 116 exams sat in 2024, meaning almost half were affected.

A total of 56 high school exams were affected in Victoria's questions cover-sheet blunder.

The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority uploads sample exam papers each year to familiarise students with test details.

But tech-savvy pupils could find examination material hidden in the background of the digital documents following an inadvertent publishing error.

"There is no risk that any other exams were impacted in this way," Mr Carroll told reporters at parliament on Wednesday.

Kylie White resigned as the boss of the exam authority after the state government ordered a sweeping review of the body following years of errors in final assessments.

Answers across the 56 impacted exams will be reviewed to identify anomalies in how students responded and marks adjusted if anyone gained an unfair advantage.

Ms White's interim replacement Marcia Devlin said in many cases only a partial question or prompt was released.

An expert panel has ruled material that was published early for the English exam was either already in the public domain or so general it would not have aided a student.

"I can assure all 46,000 students who sat the English exam this year that the marking of the exam will continue as usual," Ms Devlin said.

"No additional measures will be required for English or EAL (English as an Additional Language)."
