Electronic music royalty The Chemical Brothers will return to Australia with three east coast shows to follow the release of their latest album.

The duo will play three shows down under, lighting up Brisbane's Riverstage and Sydney Showground in February, followed by A Day on the Green in Geelong in early March.

Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons have written global hits going back decades such as Hey Boy Hey Girl, Block Rockin Beats and Galvanize.

They are also renowned for the production of their hallucinogenic live shows, with longtime collaborators Adam Smith and Marcus Lyall directing their Australian concerts.

For That Beautiful Feeling is the tenth studio album for The Chemical Brothers and their first full album since 2019's No Geography.

It will be released on September 8 featuring the singles No Reason, Live Again (a collaboration with Halo Maud) and Skipping Like A Stone, a collaboration with singer-songwriter Beck.

The Chemical Brothers are also releasing a retrospective book in October, to be titled Paused in Cosmic Reflection, which will feature interviews with the band and their collaborators.

The Presets will open the Sydney and Geelong gigs and DJs Anna Lunoe and James Holroyd will also play.

The Chemical Brothers play Riverstage Brisbane February 27, Sydney Showground February 29 and Mt Duneed Estate Geelong March 2.

Presale tickets will be released September 6 with general sales opening September 8.
