Investigation as child's body found after caravan fire

Police are investigating after a child died in a caravan fire.

The child's body was discovered after firefighters put out the blaze in a street in Boort, in central Victoria, on Thursday evening.

The Victoria Police arson squad was alerted and an arson chemist will attend the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
