King Charles ‌and his wife Queen Camilla have hosted Charles' ‌son, Prince Harry, his wife ‌Meghan and their two children who are visiting the United Kingdom.

Harry has visited the UK just once or ‌twice a ‌year since a public high-profile falling out with both his father and elder brother, Prince William and Harry's children - seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet - have not been to ‌the country since 2022.

Charles welcomed Meghan and Harry's children to his Highgrove residence on Friday afternoon after days of speculation over whether the family meeting would take place, UK media reported.

It is understood the Queen who has a private home near to the King's Gloucestershire property was also among the group.

Harry had appeared to be at ‌loggerheads with Buckingham Palace over security arrangements and where he would stay before he arrived for five days of charity events and the result ‌of a major privacy case he had brought against UK newspapers.

A judge ruled that Harry failed to prove his privacy invasion claims against the publisher of the Daily Mail.

Security issues prevented Meghan and the children travelling with Harry on Monday but it appears concerns over safety were mitigated to allow the visit to Highgrove to take place.

Harry's rift with his brother William is ongoing and shows no sign of abating and the family reunion took place during the same afternoon William was playing in a charity polo match at Windsor.
