A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder over the stabbing death of another man in regional NSW.
A 37-year-old man was found with a stab wound at a South Tamworth apartment block about 3.15pm on Sunday and died soon after.
Later in the evening the younger man was arrested at a nearby home and taken to Tamworth Police Station where he was charged with murder.
Bail was refused and he is due in Tamworth Local Court on Tuesday.
The victim has not yet been formally identified and anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact police.
