A man has been charged with dangerous driving causing the deaths of an 11-year-old boy and a woman.
He is accused of being behind the wheel of a vehicle that crashed into a tree and caught fire along the Murray Valley Highway at Echuca about 12.30pm on Sunday.
A 26-year-old Moama woman and the Echuca boy died at the scene.
Detectives have charged the 23-year-old and he has been bailed to appear at Echuca Magistrates’ Court on January 23.
