A man has been charged with murder after a woman died from injuries at a suburban home despite efforts by emergency services to revive her.
The 30-year-old woman from Ferntree Gully, on Melbourne's eastern outskirts, was declared dead at the scene on Friday morning.
Police said a 45-year-old Ferntree Gully man was arrested nearby and had since been charged with one count of murder.
It is alleged the parties were known to each other.
The man appeared at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday evening via video link and was remanded in custody to appear on February 23, 2027.
