A man has been shot dead in the car park of a community centre.
Emergency services were called to a community centre in southwest Sydney about 5.50 pm on Wednesday, NSW Police said.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene on Rossmore Avenue in Punchbowl, but could not save him.
A crime scene has been established at the site.
"Police have been informed that a vehicle was seen driving away from the location after the incident," a police spokesman said
The dead man has not been identified.
