Five-goal Sydney star Chloe Molloy has exploded against West Coast to deliver a 22-point victory that seals a finals berth and keeps the Swans in touch with the top four.
And two-time reigning AFLW premiers North Melbourne have fought past a stern challenge from Adelaide to win by nine points and return to the top of the ladder.
Molloy's terrific bag of five, including three final-term majors, proved the difference at Henson Park as Colin O'Riordan's Sydney prevailed 12.6 (78) to 8.8 (56).
"Colin challenged us at the start of the week to seize the moment," Molloy told Fox Footy.
"Sometimes you can shy away from the bigger moments and an opportunity to lock in the finals.
"I love playing footy. I love playing footy with this bunch of girls and I think everyone had a moment today that led to the end outcome."
Molloy's fifth goal was the 100th of her career, with the 27-year-old joining Kate Hore, Jasmine Garner, Gemma Houghton and Tahlia Randall in reaching that milestone.
The star Swan (24 goals) also leapt to the top of this season's goal kicking chart as Sydney kicked away.
Daisy Pearce's Eagles led by 14 late in the second quarter.
But Sydney responded after halftime, bagging three goals in the third term to take a two-point lead into the last quarter, when Molloy - who also had 17 disposals and four clearances - took control.

Cynthia Hamilton kicked two goals, while Taylor Smith (23 hitouts, 17 disposals, one goal), Laura Gardiner (24 disposals, eight tackles and Tanya Kennedy (18 disposals, six clearances, eight tackles) were all influential.
Eagle Keeley Skepper kicked two goals and Bella Lewis (17 disposals) and Lucia Painter (16 disposals, five clearances) were busy.
The loss leaves 13th-placed West Coast's (16 points) destiny out of their own hands, with their top-eight hopes over if Hawthorn beat Essendon, while sixth-placed Sydney (32 points) will play finals.
At North Hobart Oval, Adelaide conceded the first two goals in scrappy, wet conditions but kept North goalless in the second term, then kicked two majors to lead by three at halftime.
Adelaide were up by a point at the final change but couldn't hold on as North overran the Crows late to win 5.8 (38) to 4.5 (29).
Kangaroos stars Jasmine Garner and Ash Riddell had 32 disposals apiece, while Erika O'Shea had 26 and 16 intercepts.
Crows Ebony Marinoff (30 disposals) and Chloe Bown (22) were busy and Christina Leuzzi kicked two goals.
North powerhouse Vikki Wall kicked crucial goals in the third and fourth quarter, including the sealer after Tahlia Randall had restored the Kangaroos' lead.
"They're such an unbelievable side and they're fighting for their place in finals so we knew that it was going to be a tough game, which it was," Wall said.
