Police have charged a fourth man over a fatal shooting with alleged gangland links at a western Sydney apartment complex.

Three men aged 22, 21 and 19 had already been charged over the fatal shooting in Lidcombe in the early hours of March 16.

Police allege the 38-year-old victim was set upon by men with links to organised crime in a targeted shooting inside the unit.
