A young constable has been charged with driving offences after a collision with a stolen car in northern Victoria.

Three police officers and three occupants of an allegedly stolen MG were injured after a crash with a police car north of Bendigo in April last year.

At the time it was alleged the stolen vehicle rammed the police car.

The 26-year-old first constable will appear in court at a later date, facing charges of reckless conduct endangering life and driving in a manner dangerous.

At the time of the collision, a 20-year-old man and 16-year-old girl were charged with motor vehicle theft.

The third passenger, a 15-year-old boy, was arrested but not charged.
