North Melbourne captain Jasmine Garner has won her third AFLW MVP, pipping Kangaroos teammate and newly crowned league best-and-fairest winner Ash Riddell.
Adding to her crowns in 2020 and 2023, Garner goes past Adelaide and Port Adelaide great Erin Phillips (2017, 2019) with more MVPs than any other AFLW player.
The Kangaroos superstar beat Riddell, West Coast young gun Ella Roberts, Melbourne captain Kate Hore, and Geelong ace Georgie Prespakis for the honour.
Garner's achievements equal Western Bulldogs men's captain Marcus Bontempelli having won an MVP three times, while Gary Ablett Jr took out a record five crowns.
She was also named best captain in her first season as skipper of the powerhouse Kangaroos.

Fremantle's Kiara Bowers took out the AFLW's most courageous award, while Sydney youngster Zippy Fish predictably took out the best first-year player award following her Rising Star win.
Riddell won her first league best-and-fairest on Monday night, crediting her close relationship with Garner to help achieve their best.
She and Garner have often "pinched" best-and-fairest votes off each other in recent years, resulting in both missing out on the league's highest individual honour.
But Riddell wouldn't be denied this season, named best-on-ground six times in a dozen appearances to tally 23 votes, three clear of Geelong's second-placed Georgie Prespakis (20).
Melbourne's Tyla Hanks (18) was third and Roberts (17) fourth, with Garner and Sydney's Laura Gardiner (15 each) tied for fifth.

"We just make each other better," Riddell said of her relationship with Kangaroos captain Garner.
"We're sort of by-products of each other on the field and we have some good times off the field as well.
"It makes footy really enjoyable."

Riddell was overlooked at two drafts before North Melbourne picked her up for their first season as an AFLW expansion club in 2019.
Garner was already an established player in the league, and Riddell relished joining her at the Kangaroos.
"I really admired the way that she went about it and she's so humble," Riddell said.
"She should be up here a few more times than I should be.
"She's an amazing player and is so well respected by the AFLW community."
Riddell and Garner were named in the All-Australian team alongside North Melbourne teammates Tahlia Randall and Blaithin Bogue.
They will be key figures in Saturday's grand final against the Brisbane Lions.
The Kangaroos enter the decider as defending premiers and hot favourites on a record 26-match winning streak.
