Melbourne Renegades have won the toss and put local rivals the Stars into bat in their Big Bash League derby at Marvel Stadium

Batter Aaron Finch will play his final match for the Renegades.

The Stars will move above the Adelaide Strikers into the crucial fourth place on the ladder if they win.

A win for the Renegades would shift them off the bottom and above the Sydney Thunder.

TEAMS
