A third teen has been charged after a Gold Coast security guard was stabbed with a meat cleaver.
The male guard was working at the Helensvale shopping centre on Friday morning when the group allegedly attacked him.
He was taken with multiple stab wounds to the Gold Coast University Hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.
The attackers fled in a stolen black Holden Trax.
Police tracked the vehicle and intercepted it at Distillery Rd at Beenleigh about an hour later.
Four people were taken into custody.
A 19-year-old Oxenford man and a 13-year-old Upper Coomera girl were first charged with attempted murder over the incident.
A 17-year-old boy from Beenleigh was charged with the same offence on Saturday.
Police say they are not looking for other suspects.
