The fight between Nikita Tszyu and Benjamin Bommber will go ahead after the Victorian youngster made weight on his second attempt on the scales.
The pair are both set for their sixth professional fight on Wednesday night at Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena, with both super welterweight boxers unbeaten.
Bommber initially failed to make weight on Tuesday afternoon, putting the fight in jeopardy.
Tszyu weighed in right on the money at 69.85kg, but Bommber tipped the scales over at 70.3kg.
With the Tszyu camp demanding their opponent drop the weight by the two-hour deadline, Bommber, who already looked like he'd spent time in the sauna, rushed from the stage.
Sydneysider Tszyu mocked Bommber by pretending to stare off against him while posing for a photo.
Bommber headed straight for his hotel, and after 20 minutes of extra time in the sauna the 21-year-old weighed in at 69.5kg and said it was "easy".
Tszyu said it was unprofessional of Bommber to initially miss the weight.
“He has been bringing all these coaches from America, but he can’t even make weight,” Tszyu said on-stage.
“He’s not a professional.
"I'm not surprised - I had a feeling that he would (go over) ... because I've heard that he's fought at super middleweight.
"He's got to make the weight."
