The Wallaroos have included Queensland Reds flyer Piper Flynn on the bench for a potential debut as they aim to snap a five-Test losing streak in France.
Australia, who led the world-beating England at halftime a week ago in Salford before going down 48-15, have arrived hopeful against a French outfit they beat in their last clash three years ago.
Flynn is one of four changes, with Tiarah Minns, Tabua Tuinakauvadra and Ava Wereta added to the 23 for Saturday's (Sunday AEST) encounter.
Piper Duck and Allana Sikimeti will return to the starting side in Aix-en-Provence.
"We know exactly where our strengths and weaknesses lie and sharpening those areas week after week is exactly the kind of environment we thrive in," women's high performance boss Tim Walsh said. "It's about winning the moments in front of us, building something bigger than ourselves and loving the work it takes to get there. "France are a complete side, both physical, flamboyant and we're not underestimating anything about what's coming."
The Wallaroos then face Scotland in Edinburgh before both sides return to Australia for October clashes in Sydney and Canberra.
