A watch and act flood warning has been issued for parts of northern Victoria, with authorities flagging a moderate flooding risk.
Emergency Victoria said the Murray River at Barham could reach the moderate flood level on Tuesday, and some residents should consider moving to higher ground.
The warning area included the tourist hub of Echuca, which suffered significant flooding in 2022.
River levels at Torrumbarry Weir are rising slowly and could reach the minor level this week, authorities said.
Emergency Victoria warned people not to enter flood waters, and those considering leaving should turn off gas and electrical appliances and check road statuses for closures beforehand.
