A woman has been charged over the alleged stabbing murder of a man in Townsville.
Nicole Candis Greer remains in the watch house with her case briefly heard in Townsville Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
She did not apply for bail and it was formally refused.
Magistrate Ken Taylor asked for a brief of evidence with a committal mention scheduled for October 13.
Police allege that Greer entered a property early last Wednesday and seriously assaulted a 39-year-old man before leaving in a vehicle.
The man suffered critical injuries including a stab wound to his chest and died at the scene.
Detectives later arrested a 32-year-old woman and charged her with murder, entering a dwelling with intent at night in company, threatening violence and deprivation of liberty.
A 37-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday and is assisting police with their investigation.
