A homicide investigation is underway after a woman's body was found at a waste management facility in Melbourne's north.
Workers made the grim discovery while moving green waste at the site on Cooper Street in Epping on Wednesday.
Victoria Police believe her body was originally inside a bin that was picked up outside a property in the nearby suburb of Coolaroo on Tuesday and taken to the tip.
The death is being treated as suspicious and detectives are waiting on the results of a post-mortem examination before formally identifying her.
On Saturday, detectives and uniformed officers were seen outside a residential property in Coolaroo but haven't confirmed if it is linked to the probe.
Detectives are also looking at CCTV and dash cam footage taken in Coolaroo from June 23 to July 2.
Anyone who saw suspicious behaviour or has relevant footage has been asked to contact investigators.
It comes just over three years after the remains of Epping mother Ju 'Kelly' Zhang were found at a landfill in the nearby suburb of Wollert.
Last year, Ms Zhang's boyfriend Joon Seong Tan was found guilty of stabbing her in her bedroom in February 2021 and dumping her body in a wheelie bin.
He is serving up to 28 years behind bars over the murder.
