Police believe they have charged the final Australia-based offender linked to an international satanic child exploitation ring.

Detectives have been investigating an apparent Sydney-based pedophile network since 2025, which they allege was actively involved in possessing, distributing and facilitating child sexual abuse material with ritualistic or satanic themes.

Specialist police executed a search warrant on Tuesday at an apartment in Woollahra in Sydney’s east, arresting a 62-year-old man.

Electronics were seized relevant to their investigation into the alleged network.

The man has been charged with nine counts of using a carriage service to transmit child abuse material, using a carriage service to access material, two counts of disseminating bestiality material, disseminating animal crush material, possessing a prohibited drug and participating in criminal group contribute to criminal activity.

He was denied bail and will appear in court on Wednesday.

Police believe the man is the final NSW-based offender identified with links to the alleged international pedophile network.

Five other men have now been arrested and charged, including Landon Germanotta-Mills who was arrested in late November.

Investigators have identified a further 145 offenders internationally, with referrals being made to other law enforcement agencies within Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, South America and Southeast Asia.
