Australia's Joe Comito has caused arguably the biggest boilover so far at the PDC darts world championship in London.
The 44-year-old from Western Australia booked his spot in the second round with a 3-1 win over German world No.52 Niko Springer.
Comito joined fellow West Australian Damon Heta, the world No.16, in the second round, 24 hours after compatriot Simon "The Wizard'' Whitlock was beaten by England's Connor Scutt.
A third player from WA, Tim Pusey, who takes on Ireland's Keane Barry on Saturday (AEDT), was in the crowd to watch his good mate down one of the game's top performers in 2025.
"Overwhelmed to be honest, but I do believe in myself, I really do," Comito said.
"The main thing was to prove to myself that I can do it up there (on stage).
"I know I can, I haven't done it before ... and once I got that first leg then I completely settled and the rest is history."
Comito debuted at Alexandra Palace last year, but made a nervous start to the biggest match of his career.
He hung in to take the sloppy opening set three legs to two, but the match was level after he lost the second 3-1.
A fantastic 155 checkout sealed a 3-0 third-set sweep, before "The Waterboy'' clinched the fourth 3-2 and the contest without nailing a single 180.
Comito will next take on either Northern Ireland's world No.11 Josh Rock or England's Gemma Hayter.
Earlier on Tuesday night at "Ally Pally'', Welshman Gerwyn Price romped to a 3-0 win over Czech Adam Gawlas.

Price, the 2021 winner, bagged six 180s before closing out the win with his second 120 checkout of the evening to set up a second-round meeting with Wesley Plaisier.
"I don't usually get this (crowd support), so thank you very much," the ninth seed told Sky Sports.
"Honestly, if I win the million (first prize), it's not going to change my life, but I want to win trophies.
"I want to be back in the top four in the world and be where I think I deserve."
Elsewhere, sixth seed Danny Noppert beat fellow Dutchman Jurjen van der Velde 3-1, while eighth-seeded Englishman Chris Dobey and German Ricardo Pietreczko won by the same scoreline.
