Four people have been apprehended as part of a probe into a series of violent incidents linked to bikies near the NSW-Victoria border.

Three men aged 37, 42 and 30 and a 39-year-old woman were arrested as police searched premises in the Wodonga area in northeastern Victoria on Friday.

All three men taken into custody are said to be members of the Finks bikie gang.

The 30-year-old from Wodonga was charged with blackmail, extortion, possessing a prohibited weapon and four other charges.

The 37-year-old from Barnawartha is accused of blackmail, trafficking a drug of dependence, possessing a drug of dependence, burglary and committing an indictable offence whilst on bail.

The other man and the woman were released pending further inquiries.

Police alleged they found knuckledusters and illicit drugs during the raids.

Another Wodonga man, 30, was arrested earlier this week and charged with burglary, extortion and committing an indictable offence whilst on bail.

Investigations are ongoing.
