Man arrested after woman and two children found dead

A man has been arrested after the discovery of the bodies of a woman and two children in a suburban home. 

The three bodies were found in Sydney’s southwest following a call from the home to triple zero shortly before 8pm on Monday, police said.

Officers entered the home on Raymond Avenue, Campbelltown, and found the bodies inside.

A 47-year-old man arrested at the scene has been taken to Campbelltown Police Station.

"A crime scene has been established, and an investigation has commenced by Campbelltown Detectives, assisted by State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad," police said in a statement.
