A 92-year-old Canberra man has been charged with the murder of his wife.
Police discovered the 92-year-old woman's body at a home in the Canberra suburb of Fisher on Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to the residence after a care worker on a scheduled visit found the body.
The man was taken into custody on Monday evening and has been charged with one count of murder.
He appeared in a bedside hearing on Tuesday afternoon and the matter was adjourned until Wednesday.
