Beau Lamarre-Condon will step back into the witness box where he is expected to explain how an ex-partner and the man's new boyfriend ended up both fatally shot through the head.
The 31-year-old has pleaded not guilty to murdering Jesse Baird and Luke Davies in their city terrace in February 2024, saying the two men died through self-defence.
He began giving evidence before a NSW Supreme Court jury on Thursday where he was asked by defence barrister John Stratton SC about the events leading up to the fatal day.

He is expected to testify on Friday about disguising himself as an Uber Eats driver, complete with motorcycle helmet, and entering their Sydney home.
Prosecutors allege Lamarre-Condon was motivated by jealous obsession when he shot Mr Baird execution style and then killed Mr Davies through a door to eliminate a witness.
However, the 31-year-old is expected to say he merely went to the Paddington address to pick up his belongings after Mr Baird broke up with him in November 2023.
Mr Stratton earlier told the jury that his client had his police-issued pistol with him at the time because he was not allowed to leave it in the car.
On Thursday, the jury heard directly from Lamarre-Condon that he had gone through Mr Baird's phone checking social media messages to see if he was seeing other men.

He also admitted putting up a false Instagram story insinuating that Mr Baird had sent him flowers from Melbourne to weed out any romantic rivals the TV presenter was seeing at the time.
It was this false post that led to the pair breaking up.
Lamarre-Condon put the two men's bodies into surfboard bags and with assistance from a friend, tried to submerge them in a dam southwest of Sydney before burying them near a Greek monastery.
He eventually led police to their location after handing himself in.
