One man is dead and another is in police custody after a suspicious house fire.
Emergency services responded to a building fire at Swan Hill in Victoria's northwest at 5.40pm Wednesday.
After the fire was extinguished, a search of the property discovered a man's body, Victoria Police said.
"At this stage the fire is being treated as suspicious and another man, who is believed to have been at the property at the time, has been taken into custody," Victoria Police said in a statement.
